FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

As one of the top roofing companies in Fremont, Sonrise roofing gets a fair share of questions from prospective clients. We gathered up the most asked ones and put them here for easy access. If you don’t see the answers you’re looking for, feel free to call or contact us any time.

After pricing, how long will it take to do my roof is the most common question. So how long does it take?

For the average size home in Fremont and the surrounding area, it usually takes 2 to 3 days. Of course, if you have a very large home or business, we’ll do an on-site inspection and give you an estimate then.

Do I have to be home?

There is no need for you to be home while we are working. In fact, we suggest you take the opportunity to go out to lunch if you can (it can get really loud with us hammering away up there).

Do I have to get a city permit?

There’s never a reason for you to get a permit when you hire Sonrise roofing. We take care of all of the paperwork that is necessary and we’ll even take the time to explain each one to you.

Do you carry liability insurance?

Yes, our insurance covers both workers compensation and liability.

What do I need to do to prepare?

You should remove your cars from your garage and driveway before we arrive at 7am. To protect anything that may be in the garage, place a tarp over any valuables in the garage to prevent dirt and debris from falling on them.

Should we paint our house first or have a new roof put on first?

I recommend painting the house first and then putting the roof on. Sometimes even professional painters overspray or spill paint on the roof leaving it looking bad.
